Who We Are and How We Work

Asphalt Paving Casper paves and maintains driveways, shop aprons, equipment yards and parking lots in Casper and around Natrona County. We also patch, fill cracks, seal coat and turn gravel drives into asphalt.

Casper is hard on pavement. The city sits at about 5,120 feet, gets roughly 72 inches of snow in an average winter and drops to zero or below on about 15 nights a year. The city's own building criteria list the weathering risk as severe and set the frost line at three feet. Pavement here lasts when it sits on a thick, well-drained base and the cracks get filled before winter. It fails early when either is skipped.

The way we do it

• Every job starts with a visit. We measure, look at how water and snowmelt move across the site and check for soft ground.
• The bid lists tear-out, base depth, asphalt depth, edges and any sealing as separate lines.
• If the job means cutting a curb or digging in the street or alley, we tell you which city permit applies before anything is scheduled.
• Paving is booked for the warm months, when hot mix can be compacted properly.
• Nothing starts until you sign the bid, and any change gets written up for your approval.
